Sunday Surprise: Sephora Makeup Haul

Look what came in the mail today...

Totally my happy day :) I had ordered this a long time back but waiting to get it delivered from another friend. (We don't have Sephora where I live). Can't wait to start playing around with all this stuff.  The one I'm most excited to try is actually the Tarte cream eyeshadows.  I've never used any Tarte products before. Next stop would be their infamous amazonian clay blushes.

I know some people would be excited for Urban Decay Naked 2 but I already have Naked 1.  From the other reviews I've read, Naked 2 has cooler colors and seems more shimmery.  Will have to wait and see whether I will love Naked 1 or Naked 2 more.

My trip to Books Kinokuniya (Asian equivalent of Boarders) shocked me. I came across this book. Seriously! A Hello Kitty Guidebook to London?!?

Foodies Alert: Dean & Deluca

Seriously I don't get all the hype with Dean & Deluca. Are what the other food bloggers say is true? Confirmed... disappointing.

Originally from NYC, Dean & Deluca opened cafe here in Bangkok.  Its located in the CBD and easily accessable by the BTS skytrain.  A bad point: never drive here.  The only parking they have is the road side (sad).

I forgot to take pics of the atmosphere (again).  Was more into catching up with my BFF who I haven't seen in a long time ^-^

Hot Chocolate with marshmallows

The food is expensive, service is poor and totally not worth it.  I can get better food from Au Bon Pain at cheaper price.  Specifically for the hot chocolate, Starbucks makes better.  I prefer the real tense cocoa taste and less sugar.  They put in too much sugar.

Red Velvet

 There were fruits in the red velvet cake.  Nothing amazing and  I've had better.

Sushi Cookies.  Really?

Saw this and thought it looked interesting.  However, the price tag for these cookies is almost what I paid for the entire meal for 2 people. **shocking**

My Weekday Getaway

As you can probably notice from my previous posts that I was in Khao Yai.  The highlight of the trip wasn't only the view but a 5-day stay at the luxurious Muthi Maya Forest Pool Villa Resort (all expense paid too!).

Muthi Maya is actually connected as part of Kirimaya, another luxury resort with golf course. The main difference between the 2 resorts is that  Muthi Maya consist of only pool villas. *Big Happy Face*

When you enter the room, you will find 1. dinning area with pantry, 2. a daybed waiting for you to lounge, 3. main bathroom area with a Jacuzzi, 4. large patio with private pool and 5. small sala to sunbathe by the pool.

Couldn't decide on what to pick do brought a small collection with me.

Finally ended up with pink micro glitter and mint accent. Loving the mint but don't dare to wear on all 10 fingers yet....too green?!? Maybe?

Khao Yai (big mountain) is one of my fav places to go especially during the winter because of its cool weather. Even if it's summer now, the breeze is still cool.

Wednesday Blues

Foodie Alert: Peppermint Frapp @Whittards

It is a hot summer's day and where do you go to cool down? 

Out of all the mint frapp places that I've tried, Whittard actually does the best job.  Definitely must try <3

Don't know about you but its really hard to find places who get mint perfect.  Another place I love for my mint fix is Baskin Robbins.  They make the best mint choc chip ice cream!!
